Toth's Papyrus Scroll Online
The Ancient Egyptian deity Thoth ruled over the art of hieroglyphics and writing. Today, we'll be playing the role of Ancient Egyptian scribe, making papyrus paper and writing our names (or phonetically equivalent names) in hieroglyphics.
This program has supplies provided by the library to create along with Miss Kirsten. Please contact the library to have the supplies delivered via our Curbside Pickup service prior to the livestream. All Program Supplies are first-come, first served. Participants will need to supply their own scissors and tape.
If you would like to use your own supplies, we will be using brown paper, glue, wax paper, paint brushes, paint, and a 'translation' sheet of hieroglyphics, which is available online here.
This program will stream live on Facebook at 1:00 pm today. Click Here to access our Facebook page - and if you haven't already, give us a Like! If you can't make the stream, never fear! You can access the recording of our program on the library's YouTube channel.
